The mission of Child Advocacy is to improve the welfare of children and their families through education, training, and support for the prevention of substance abuse, and child abuse and neglect.

    Survivors of Suicide Group
    7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
    This is a safe place in our community for survivors families and loved ones of those who died by suicide to share their loss with others who have a shared experience. Groups are open to all adult survivors of suicide and are held at Child Advocacy on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.

    The Gratiot County Breastfeeding Coalition is held the 4th Wednesday of each month at Child Advocacy. In some circumstances, additional trainings and events may be held in place of the monthly coalition meeting.     Caregiver Support Group Meeting
    6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
    Child Advocacy offers a monthly support group for those raising non-biological children (foster parents, adoptive parents, relative caregivers, kinship caregivers, and fictive caregivers). This group provides social support, community networking of resources, group facilitation, and professional training.
