Children Trust Michigan was established by the Michigan Legislature through Public Act 249/250 of 1982, the Michigan Chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America.  CTM serves as a voice for Michigan’s children and families and promotes their health, safety, and welfare by funding effective local programs and services that prevent child abuse and neglect. Child Advocacy is the prevention council for Gratiot County.  CTM helps raise funds for local prevention programs through a tax campaign.  Because Child Advocacy is the prevention council for Gratiot County, we currently receive support from CTM and would receive support from this campaign. Gratiot County residents are able to donate $5, $10, or any amount they choose to the Children Trust Michigan fund on the Michigan tax form 4642.  Every dollar raised after reaching the threshold of $650 will come directly to Child Advocacy’s prevention programs for the next two years. To learn more, visit Children Trust Michigan.
