Undergraduate Students: Child Advocacy accepts volunteers and interns pursuing undergraduate degrees in child development, criminal justice, education, family studies, social work, and other human service related fields. Students can expect a well-rounded experience working within all of our main programs: Gratiot County Substance and Suicide Prevention, Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention, Children’s Advocacy Center, and Court Appointed Special Advocates. MSW Students: We offer two MSW internship options for both first year (general) and second year/advance-standing (clinical). MSW interns can expect to gain a strong understanding of child abuse and neglect, trauma, and the legal process for victims of crime.
